Mrs. Mouttet receives $2500 for the library

Thanks to the support of local Farmer's Agent Greg Martin and the MVCS family, Mrs. Mouttet was awarded $2,500 for her Reaching for Research grant proposal. Since this grant was awarded based on popular vote for proposals from schools across the nation, we are so thankful we got enough votes to win the competition.

Her first purchase with the grant money was an online subscription to World Book Encyclopedia. Our most current version of the encyclopedia before this was 2007. So much in the world has changed in the past 8 years making the hard copy relatively useless for some research topics.

Mrs. Mouttet continues to look at the research needs of our teachers and students as she plans how to spend the rest of the grant money.
