November Primary Lego Club
This week was our second meeting of the Primary Lego Club. It is so fun for me to watch the kiddos create first on their own and then with a partner.
We always start with a free build where the kiddos
can build anything they want with the Legos
in their bag. They are allowed to trade with someone if they do not have what they want, but it must be a mutual trade - not a "bossy" one.
We end with a Challenge - something requiring them
to work with another student - possibly someone they do not know as well. This week's challenge was to build a tower that could hold a tennis ball - I was not as concerned with the height of the tower as I was with whether or not the tower could hold the tennis ball. All teams met the challenge.
