Archaeology Day

Mrs. Cousler arranged for an Archaeology Day with people from the local BLM office and the Office of Archaeological Studies in Santa Fe.

They came to talk to Mrs. Cousler's Ecology Class but some of the elementary students were able to come see the display as well. Students learned how to make string from yucca fibers as well as learning about tools, and how to start a fire - yes we actually had smoke in the library as they were able to create sparks.
