Dr. Seuss Storytime

Today was our first summer Storytime Wednesday. We had 6 attendees. We first read The Foot Book and then measured different things in the library using a cut out foot. The next book we read was The Cat in the Hat and then did some balancing practice - on one foot, walking across a beam, and stacking blocks. Our third book was One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. Our activities for this book were counting (and then eating) Goldfish snacks and then playing a matching game.

Our final book was Hop on Pop followed by a board game where the children had to avoid hopping on pop.

We all had a lot of fun and hope to have more attendees on June 21 when our theme is Rainbows.
