We still need some "trash"

The library is sponsoring a couple of Maker Mania days between now and the start of school. Some of the stations on these days will revolve around re-purposing trash. We are looking for the following items:

cardboard canisters (from oatmeal, etc.)

coffee canisters

cardboard tubes (toilet paper, paper towel, wrapping paper, etc)

clean plastic peanut butter jars with lids

lids of all sizes (from juice containers, sour cream containers, cottage cheese containers, etc.)

baby wipes containers

old CDs

empty cardboard boxes (cereal, pasta, etc.)

yarn

bubble wrap

Styrofoam

clean T-shirts (any as long as design is appropriate for MVCS)

clean gallon jugs (from water or milk)

We could also use the following new items:

bamboo skewers

small dowels

paper plates

crepe paper streamers

votive candles

duct tape in fun designs/colors

painters tape

Other items (either new or used):

glue gun

glue sticks

scissors

hole punch

spray bottles

small flashlight

10 feet of clean, clear plastic hose

If you have any of these items and you'd be willing to donate them to the library, let me know by August 1.
