Curiosity Day
Saturday, September 17 was the anniversary of the birth of the creator of Curious George. To celebrate I invited the K2, K, and first grade classes to the library for a Curiosity Day. I read Curious George Goes to School and then divided the students into 7 groups.
We had 7 stations set up in the library and the students rotated through the stations: Curious George Memory Game, Curious about Science and Curiosity Bags, I can draw Curious George, Curious about building, Coloring Curious George, Math and Spelling with Curious George, and Curious George Maze and Hidden Pictures.
I couldn't have done it without the help of the teachers and the parents and volunteers who showed up to assist the kiddos. We had a great time.
